Celebrity Theatre/Sunset & Vine
Built in 1937, this sleek Streamline Moderne building was home to the West Coast headquarters of the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) during the 1940′s. Then in the 1970′s it transformed into the TAV Celebrity Theater, which was home to The Merv Griffin Show until the 1990′s, at which time the building suffered a major fire. Today, all that is left of the original building is its exterior façade.
