Frolic Room Bar
Located a few blocks east of Highland Avenue on Hollywood Blvd, the Frolic Room is one of the oldest bars in Los Angeles. Originally part of the Pantages Theatre, the Frolic Room was rumored to have operated as speakeasy for the actors and friends of the theater during Prohibition. Recognized by its neon art deco sign and façade, the Frolic Room became an officially licensed bar in 1934.
