Public Storage Building
(Los Angeles, CA)

Designated as one of “The most beautiful storage buildings in the world”, the gothic inspired Public Storage Building (originally the American Storage Building) on Beverly and Wilshire was built in 1928 by architect Arthur E. Harvey. Built as a warehouse facility, this enormous 14 story building also housed a celestial-themed speakeasy on the top floor until the end of the prohibition era.
