Torrance High School
(Torrance, CA)
Torrance High School was founded in 1917. It is noteworthy that it is one of the oldest high schools in continuous use in the State of California. The School opened its doors as a result of the area’s rapid post-World War I growth. Currently, four of the buildings on campus are listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Spectra Company is working on the “Senior Patio” Courtyard behind the Main Building — The “Senior Patio” Courtyard was built in 1923.
