Victoria Beach Tower
(Laguna Beach, Ca)
In 1926, William E. Brown, frequent Christian Science lecturer and State Senator, built the Victoria Beach Tower behind his home in Laguna Beach, California. The 60 foot structure was built with reinforced concrete and hid a spiral staircase that provided access to the beach property below. The residence and accompanying tower were sold to retired Naval Officer Harold Kendrick in the 1940’s, and has subsequently been owned by numerous others including Hollywood diva, Bette Midler.
