Wisteria Cottage - Cobble wall
 (La Jolla, CA)

One of La Jolla’s most distinguished structures, Wisteria Cottage, was built in 1904 by George and Edith Seaman. In 1909, Architect Irving Gill was commissioned to design an addition to the cottage which included the front porch and pergola. The distinct cobblestone masonry foundation and cobblestone wall surrounding the property remains one of the most prominent features of the craftsman style cottage. The cottage has been home to numerous organizations over the years, and it currently serves as the headquarters of the La Jolla Historical Society.
