Lopez Adobe

The Lopez Adobe, located at 1100 Pico Street in San Fernando, was completed in 1883 by Valentin Lopez. It is one of the oldest private residences and the first two-story adobe built as a residence in the San Fernando Valley. The adobe was built in the Monterey style, which was popular in California in the mid to late 1800’s.

Spectra Company was asked to assist with the restoration of the Lopez Adobe. Spectra craftsmen used their expertise to replicate, repair, and structurally stabilize the adobe walls as well as other wood restoration.
