Natalie Kester has over ten years of architectural experience, specializing in historic conservation, e-commerce, and BIM. Now serving as an Architectural Preservation Associate with Spectra Company, she oversees preservation consulting, design-build, and historic construction projects—bringing a broad perspective that strengthens collaboration among owners, architects, engineers, and consultants. A graduate of Cal Poly Pomona and Oxford Brookes University, Natalie previously served as Senior Project Manager and BIM Coordinator for Herdman Architecture + Design Inc., as Senior Job Captain at Ware Malcomb, and Project Engineer for Spectra Company.

Her preservation career began with landmark rehabilitation projects in Los Angeles such as El Pueblo de Los Angeles and the Variety Arts Theatre. Over the years, she has contributed to the restoration of numerous National Register buildings, California State Historic Resources, and local landmarks. Notable projects include the Orange Circle Urth Caffe, Variety Arts Theatre, and Pomona YMCA.

With a formal education in both the United States and United Kingdom as well as deep expertise spanning design, regulatory approvals, historic nominations, construction, and development, Natalie offers a comprehensive understanding of the preservation process.
